Job Description

Databricks is looking for a Senior Data Analyst who will create Tableau dashboards from business requirements while delivering operational insights through their work. Professionals work with data engineers and data analysts while they monitor data pipelines and improve reporting results through their work and deliver analytics to support better business choices across different teams.

Main Duties:

  • Design and maintain Tableau dashboards and BI reports to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to create efficient and scalable data solutions.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical data designs and reporting solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and monitor the data warehouse environment, ensuring data integrity and performance.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve processes, analytics, and reporting outcomes.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Advanced Tableau development abilities together with experience using business intelligence tools. 
  • Deep SQL expertise together with skills in data modeling and knowledge of relational database systems. 
  • Demonstrates advanced Excel skills through their ability to use macros and pivot tables together with their proficiency in conducting advanced calculations. 
  • Experience transforming complicated business needs into technical documentation. 
  • Demonstrates effective communication capabilities together with strong attention to detail while working effectively with others.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience either in Data Engineering or in managing large datasets. 
  • Possess knowledge about the complete system operation and Tableau’s authentication system. 
  • Demonstrate knowledge about statistical functions and advanced data analysis calculations. 
  • The applicant demonstrates the ability to enhance workbook efficiency according to their experience with extensive data sets. 
  • Capability to develop dashboards which deliver essential business insights for decision-making processes.
