Microsoft is looking for a Principal Architect who will manage Data and AI technical operations within their organization. The position requires the development of enterprise-level AI and data systems which will include client management duties and solution development activities and execution of AI-powered transformation initiatives through Azure Cloud and AI technologies.

Main Duties

  • Lead end-to-end client engagements to deliver AI and cloud transformation programs.
  • Architect, design, and implement enterprise AI-powered solutions, including generative AI and LLMs.
  • Ensure solutions meet standards for performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Develop POCs, AI prototypes, and guide deployment to production environments.
  • Integrate AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies into solution designs.
  • Provide guidance on data governance, logging, and lineage for AI solutions.
  • Mentor and enable team members on architecture and solution delivery best practices.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree + 8+ years or Master’s degree + 6+ years in technology solutions, architecture, or consulting.
  • The individual has extensive knowledge about solution architecture and cloud platforms and AI technologies.
  • Experience using Azure Cloud and developing AI and ML systems and building data pipelines.
  • AI solution design patterns and responsible AI and ethical AI practices.
  • Programming skills in Python and R and C# programming languages.

Preferred Skills

  • AI and cloud domains require technical or professional certification for certification requirements. 
  • Experience in vertical industries that include Finance, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail and Consumer Goods. 
  • The applicant has demonstrated their skill to establish connections with CXOs and high-level business executives. 
  • Direct experience with AI agent systems which enable multi-agent system management and linking to business systems. 

Demonstrates strong executive presence through their ability to communicate and lead others.
