Job Description

MD is seeking a Lead AI Library Development Engineer who will design and enhance essential AI libraries which will be used on high-performance GPU computing systems. The role focuses on building efficient AI workloads, improving performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and partners to deliver scalable AI solutions on AMD systems. The engineer will work on low-level optimization tasks together with debugging procedures and the development of high-quality software for next-generation AI infrastructure. 

Qualification: Master’s/PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field

Experience: Relevant experience in software development and optimization preferred

Main Duties:

  • Design implement optimize profile analyze AI operations on AMD GPU platforms efficiently.
  • Develop high-quality code aligned with open-source software standards across global projects consistently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, customers and partners to enhance AI libraries effectively and reliably.
  • Perform debugging testing performance analysis for AI workloads ensuring optimal system efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement of GPU-based AI computing systems through iterative enhancements processes.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s or PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field
  • Demonstrate exceptional C/C++ programming abilities alongside software design expertise required for developing advanced systems.
  • Understand software architecture including debugging methods and performance assessment techniques used in large-scale computing systems.
  • Demonstrate the capacity to work efficiently on advanced computational systems and AI-driven systems during high-pressure situations. 

Preferred Skills

  • GPU computing knowledge which includes the CUDA, HIP and OpenCL framework tools. 
  • Experience working with multiple programming languages while developing high-performance systems through operational and optimization techniques. 
  • AI systems function together with the hardware accelerators used in current computing systems. 
  • Demonstrates strong analytical abilities together with exceptional problem-solving skills which he uses to perform performance tuning tasks and optimization work and debugging activities.
