Job Description
Accenture is hiring a database administrator to manage Snowflake data warehouse environments and support enterprise database operations. The responsibilities include creating data models, implementing ETL/ELT processes, optimising performance, ensuring security and governance, conducting system monitoring, and performing backup and recovery. The position requires interaction with technical professionals and clients within on-premises and public cloud-based data infrastructures.

Responsibilities
- Implement effective data modelling and data pipelines using the Snowflake Platform.
- Implement ETL / EmodellingLT processes using the Snowflake, SQL and Cloud platforms.
- Enhance the usage of the Snowflake platform in queries, storage and computing.
- Implement data security roles, permissions, masking and other governance policies.
- Operate and monitor Snowflake systems and implement backup and disaster management processes.
Requirements
- Five years of experience in database administration or any other related technologies is mandatory.
- Experience at the highest level with SQL and the management of Snowflake Data Warehouse is required.
- The ability to use Snowflake Level 3 and manage complex enterprise databases is required.
- ETL/ELT, database modelling, and querying experience are absolutely necessary.
- Experience with on-premises and cloud databases is absolutely essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge on using the Python programming language for databases, automation, and any other support functions.
- Experience in working with cloud computing services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge on data governance, data security and optimization is preferred.
- Experience in integrating Snowflake with BI tools and other systems is preferable.
- Experience in working with engineers, architects, analysts, and business partners is required.
