Accenture is looking for a Data Modeler who will work with its Data Science Analytics Team based in Navi Mumbai. The role requires professionals to work with business representatives and data owners and application designers and data architects to create and sustain data models which will support both business operations and analytics projects. The selected candidate will analyze existing data structures to build new data models which will help create data frameworks that meet enterprise standards while enabling effective system data transfer.

Main Duties

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data owners, and architects to design and maintain enterprise data models.
  • Analyze existing data structures and recommend improvements for better performance and scalability.
  • Develop logical and physical data models that support analytics, reporting, and operational systems.
  • Lead and coordinate team activities related to data modeling and analytics initiatives.
  • Engage with multiple teams to support strategic data architecture decisions.
  • Provide technical solutions and guidance to team members and cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct training sessions for junior professionals to improve data modeling skills.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve data modeling practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Essential Qualifications

  • Five years of professional experience using Python as a programming language to work in data analytics or modeling environments. 
  • Demonstrate complete knowledge of data modeling techniques together with their associated methodologies and industry-standard best practices. 
  • Experience in both database management systems and data warehousing technologies. 
  • Work with different stakeholders to transform business needs into data structural design requirements. 
  • Experience working with extensive datasets to assist in corporate data management projects.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience using data visualization tools for presenting data models. 
  • The applicant needs to understand data architecture and enterprise data frameworks. 
  • Demonstrates the ability to lead teams while making decisions for complex data projects. 
  • Showcases strong problem-solving abilities together with skills for enhancing data modeling processes.
