Job Description

AMD is seeking to hire a Computer Vision and AI Systems Architect who will create and implement artificial intelligence camera systems and imaging technologies. The role centers on developing scalable system architectures while implementing AI and machine learning solutions and working with international teams to create advanced computing products for different business sectors. 

Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Electrical/Computer Engineering/Applied Math

Experience: 5 – 10 years required

Main Duties

  • Design end-to-end camera system solutions using AI and computer vision technologies.
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams to deliver scalable AI-powered architectures.
  • Develop deployment strategies and technical roadmaps for AI-driven imaging systems.
  • Provide architectural guidance and document system design decisions and trade-offs.
  • Enhance system scalability, reliability, and performance across AI solutions.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience that includes systems architecture and software engineering work which involves AI and machine learning implementations.
  • Practical experience with AI machine learning tools which include TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX and ROCm.
  • Programming skills in Python and C/C++ which enable him to develop high-performance systems.
  • Experience with working in global teams that include members from different departments.
  • Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in engineering or applied mathematics fields which are relevant to the position. 

Preferred Skills:

  • Expertise with camera systems and ISP drivers and imaging pipelines. 
  • Possesses knowledge about computer vision and edge AI and embedded systems. 
  • Knowledge about real-time processing and low-level driver development. 
  • Demonstrates expertise in system-level design and software engineering through their work. 
  • Together with different teams from around the world in various work settings.
