Job Description

Salesforce is looking for a senior analyst to work with Workday Foundation Data Model FDM at their Finance Controllership department. This position develops and maintains Workday FDM values which maintain data governance and system integrity throughout financial operations. The analyst will work together with finance stakeholders at the organization and with technical teams and auditors to create dependable financial data solutions that can expand their operations.

Main Duties

  • Support Workday transformation initiatives across finance operating models and ERP implementations.
  • Design, implement, and update Workday FDM values aligned with governance standards.
  • Maintain finance data models and data flows to assess impacts across processes and structures.
  • Ensure data integrity, optimization, lineage, and security across FDM and dependent systems.
  • Develop logic-driven data structures to enable accurate financial snapshots and reporting.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver data-driven business solutions.
  • Strengthen trust and adoption of financial data across the Finance Controllership organization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external reporting partners, and auditors as required.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong experience managing and updating Workday Finance Accounting / FDM.
  • In-depth understanding of ERP core concepts and transactional lifecycles.
  • Experience working in large, complex ERP and finance data environments.
  • Hands-on expertise in data requirements gathering, data modeling, and profiling.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience modeling CRM data and modern SaaS platforms.
  • Certifications in Workday Financials, FDM, or Financial Accounting.
  • Exposure to enterprise finance transformation and data governance initiatives.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across technical and finance stakeholder groups.
