Job Description

Wipro is hiring an experienced Google Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable analytics platforms on Google Cloud. The role centers on establishing system reliability through automated processes while enhancing performance using SRE principles together with cloud-native tools and contemporary DevOps methods for developing enterprise-grade digital transformation solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create analytics platforms that can handle increasing workloads by using Google Cloud services together with DevOps methodologies. 
  • Site Reliability Engineering principles to develop system components through the creation of SLIs, SLOs and the implementation of incident management processes.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through automation and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality cloud solutions.

Technical & Support Responsibilities

  • Google Cloud services through their extensive use of BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Vertex AI. 
  • Terraform together with Infrastructure as Code methods to handle their infrastructure deployment and management tasks. 
  • Observability tools which include Dynatrace and Cloud Monitoring to monitor their system performance. 
  • Docker together with Kubernetes and GKE to handle their containerized environment management. 
  • Implements best practices for cloud security and networking together with Linux system optimization.

Qualifications Required

  • Extensive practical experience with Google Cloud Platform in large production environments. 
  • Knowledge about all Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts and their corresponding operational procedures. 
  • Advanced skills for developing CI/CD pipelines which I automate using Terraform and other software development tools.
  • Manage container orchestration systems through my expertise in Kubernetes and GKE. 
  • Acquired basic Python programming skills together with practical experience in handling big data and using analytics tools.
