Job Description

SAP is hiring a Development Architect Agentic AI to design and implement enterprise-grade AI systems. The position requires development of scalable Agentic AI and Generative AI solutions through the process of transforming business requirements into architectural designs while working with teams to create secure AI platforms that meet enterprise objectives.

Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in AI, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field

Experience: 8–20 years in AI/ML and solution architecture

Main Duties

  • Lead Agentic AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise business goals and scalable architecture.
  • Translate business requirements into technical AI architectures supporting enterprise-grade scalability and performance standards.
  • Design Generative AI and Agentic AI systems using modern frameworks and orchestration techniques.
  • Develop LLMOps pipelines ensuring lifecycle management, governance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of deployed models.
  • Collaborate across teams delivering AI transformation programs while ensuring compliance, optimization, and responsible AI adoption.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 8 to 20 years of experience working in AI, machine learning, and enterprise solution architecture fields. 
  • Develop deep expertise in Agentic AI, Generative AI, and enterprise IT architectural systems. 
  • Hands-on experience implementing LLMOps pipelines and managing model lifecycle governance across enterprise deployments.
  • Proficiency in Python programming while possessing additional development skills in Java and JavaScript. 
  • Solid knowledge about how vector databases work together with semantic retrieval systems and knowledge graph structures to operate in AI environments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Practical experience in developing intelligent agent systems through their work with LangChain, LangGraph and CrewAI frameworks.
  • Experience in using SAP BTP together with SAP AI Core and enterprise AI platform services. 
  • Have knowledge about SAP S4HANA and HANA database technology and integrated business artificial intelligence application ecosystem solutions. 
  • Demonstrates strong business knowledge which enables them to interact effectively with both executive leaders and technical team members.
  • Able to discover automation possibilities while creating AI solutions that function throughout large business operations.
