Job Description

IBM is looking to hire a Data Analyst with Power BI and SQL expertise who possesses strong technical skills to join its permanent Data & Analytics team. The position requires support for enterprise data integrations and reporting and system administration work which covers Oracle EPM and ERP platforms to maintain data integrity and accuracy while enabling smooth finance operations. The role requires the team member to work together with business and technical teams in order to build data-driven solutions that can grow with the organization.

Main Duties

  • Act as primary backup for daily data integrations to ensure accurate and timely data flows.
  • Support security access approvals, department structures, and hierarchy maintenance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain data integrity and system efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot issues and support enhancements across integrated systems.
  • Administer Oracle EPM modules including EDM, Planning & Budgeting, and PCMCS.
  • Support Oracle ERP GL Cloud Service, SmartView, and Oracle Analytics Cloud.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for extraction, validation, and reporting.
  • Provide system training and best-practice guidance to team members.
  • Contribute to Fusion Data Intelligence initiatives and enterprise automation efforts.
  • Support Chart of Accounts (CoA) redesign and Oracle EDM processes.

Essential Qualifications

  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Accounting Finance or a related field. 
  • Must have worked as a technical systems or data analyst in enterprise environments. 
  • Advanced SQL skills which enable them to work with extensive data sets and create complicated database queries. 
  • Practical knowledge of both Oracle EPM and Oracle ERP systems. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge about both enterprise data management practices and data integration procedures. 
  • Excellent skills in analyzing problems, solving issues, and working together with others while effectively communicating.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience with Fusion Data Intelligence.
  • Background supporting finance, ERP, or enterprise data management systems.

Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
