Job Description

Capgemini is looking to recruit an experienced individual to join their Cloud Security team, which focuses on maintaining security and reliability of technology environments. These responsibilities entail Cloud Infrastructure Management, engineering systems, ensuring data security, backup procedures, platform management, security, compliance, and improving service delivery. Other duties include supporting client environments, troubleshooting technical problems, enhancing operational effectiveness, and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Control and upkeep of computing platform, server and other infrastructure resources within Cloud Infrastructure Management activities.
• Installation, configuration, patching, upgrading, monitoring and continual improvement of operating systems and physical data center environment.
• Operating Storage and backup environment including all data protection functions, monitoring, reporting, incident handling and administration according to existing procedures.
• Troubleshooting and remediation of problems, resolution of incidents and working with internal IT resources and external vendors.
• Security, backup, redundancy, compliance and quality management with opportunities of improving efficiencies.

Requirements

• Experience in system engineering, infrastructure management, server management, or other related areas of technology.
• Proven experience in working with enterprise computing platforms, operating systems, physical data center environments, and customer infrastructure.
• Expertise in Storage, backup, data protection, monitoring, capacity management, and performance reporting.
• Experience with system patching, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, problem resolution, security controls, and infrastructure management.
• Solid grasp of Cloud Security concepts, processes, compliance issues, and services management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the management of infrastructure environments in large enterprises and specific technology platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles, infrastructure protection, and secure computing environments.
• Experience in designing and implementing patch management strategies, which help improve security protocols and increase reliability of infrastructure.
• Awareness of latest technologies, process formulation, compliance evaluation, quality assurance and service improvement.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving and coordinating skills.
