Job Description

Adobe has an open position for a Manager, Machine Learning Engineering 4 who will oversee the creation of new Generative AI solutions for all Adobe products. The position requires the development and implementation of ML systems which operate at massive scales while creating new LLM technologies and converting scientific findings into commercial software solutions. The manager will lead a team of engineers and researchers, define technical strategy, and ensure high-quality AI solutions that power tools like Firefly and Creative Cloud. 

Qualification: Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field

Experience: 10+ years in Machine Learning with leadership experience

Main Duties

  • Lead mentor team developing Generative AI and language model systems effectively.
  • Oversee research development deployment of large-scale ML models into production systems.
  • Drive innovation in agentic AI workflows and context engineering methodologies
  • Collaborate with product UX teams delivering enterprise-grade AI-powered solutions globally.
  • Ensure high-quality evaluation standards including accuracy robustness safety in models.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Strong academic background in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or related discipline.
  • 10 years experience as a leader of machine learning teams who develop AI systems that can operate at large-scale production capacity. 
  • Possesses advanced knowledge required to train, fine-tune and optimize large language models and other extensive models. 
  • Expertise in Python programming together with contemporary machine learning frameworks and infrastructure development tools. 
  • Demonstrates effective communication abilities which enable them to work together with technical teams and business partners. 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience delivering complete AI solutions which start from research and end with production deployment. 
  • Developed expertise in Generative AI workflows and enterprise AI applications. 
  • Effectively leads projects by evaluating code and creating designs for advanced machine learning system frameworks. 
  • Manage two different needs which involve developing new AI technologies while meeting immediate project needs. 
  • Dedication to advancing AI while creating effective intelligent solutions which can be used by a large audience.
