AMD currently has an open position for a Senior Program Manager Physical AI who will oversee complete AI program development from software products to embedded systems and practical AI applications. The position demands executives to manage strategic programs while using their AI machine learning knowledge to work with various engineering teams and product development divisions and operational units and business partners to create successful AI projects throughout the complete company.

Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field

Experience: 12+ years of program management experience, including 3–5 years in AI/ML program leadership

Main Duties:

  • Oversee AI and machine learning projects that include software, platform development and embedded system implementation and applied artificial intelligence solutions. 
  • Define project scope, milestones, budget, and governance while overseeing the full lifecycle from concept to deployment.
  • Identify risks and ensure smooth collaboration across teams for successful execution. 
  • Engineering and product development and operations and legal teams and customer support to achieve successful results for their artificial intelligence programs.
  • Oversee AI/ML model lifecycle, MLOps processes, and deployment of AI platform capabilities.
  • Track KPIs for program performance, model adoption, and business impact.
  • Mentor AI engineers, data scientists, and PMO contributors to build high-performing teams.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering Data Science or a related field is required for this position. 
  • Demonstrated ability to execute large-scale AI/ML programs which involve multiple stakeholders. 
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of AI technologies which encompasses ML model development predictive analytics and NLP and computer vision and generative AI. 
  • Experience working with cloud platforms which include Azure and AWS and GCP. 
  • Demonstrates outstanding abilities in communication and stakeholder management and problem-solving.

Preferred Skills:

  • Possess experience with embedded systems and Internet of Things and edge AI technologies.
  • Demonstrate practical experience with AI machine learning pipelines and data tools and Python programming and Databricks platform.
  • Possess either PMP certification or an equivalent certification.
  • Professional experience with AI platforms that were developed into commercial products and implemented at enterprise-level operations.
