Job Description

Oracle is hiring a senior manager/manager of network engineering to lead teams operating large-scale AI, GPU, and HPC networking infrastructure. The role focuses on RDMA/RoCE, InfiniBand, network automation, software engineering, performance optimisation, and operational excellence. The position requires strong technical expertise and people leadership to improve network reliability, availability, observability, and performance across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor engineers who are responsible for the management of RDMA/RoCE and InfiniBand networks.
  • Drive engineering projects that will enhance the reliability, availability, observability, and performance of AI/HPC networking fabrics.
  • Work on the architecture, software development, automation platforms, monitoring systems, and other improvements to the operational infrastructure.
  • Work with networking, software, hardware, and operations teams to manage escalations and production issues.
  • Help create roadmaps, metrics, staffings, and engineering programmes while mentoring and developing technical talent.

Requirements

  • Professional experience of more than 10 years in network engineering, network design, network operations, and large-scale infrastructures.
  • Experience in RDMA/RoCE, InfiniBand, Ethernet fabric, Clos networks, and large-scale networks.
  • Experience in congestion control, QoS, telemetry, network troubleshooting, and network performance troubleshooting.
  • Professional experience in software engineering with automation, monitoring systems, infrastructure services, and distributed systems.
  • Excellent leadership, technical decision-making, incident handling, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in deploying/building network infrastructure for big cloud environments.
  • Experience in RDMA/ROCE, InfiniBand, GPU, HPC networking, and Clos network.
  • Understanding of network congestion control, network telemetry, performance, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in building automation and operational tooling, as well as infrastructure services.
  • Skills to drive an engineering roadmap to enhance the network performance and efficiency.
