Oracle is hiring a Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer to join its Customer Success Services (CSS) team. The position requires candidates to provide support and optimization services for Oracle Database, Engineered Systems, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments. The engineer will work closely with enterprise customers to deliver proactive guidance, troubleshoot complex issues, and enable high availability, performance, and scalability across hybrid and multicloud architectures.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Engineered Systems for multicloud system environments.
  • Manage Oracle Database systems through their entire lifecycle which includes their installation process and database migrations and system upgrades and security updates.
  • Resolve complicated issues which affect system performance and cloud service availability and system reliability in both cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Works with clients to determine their needs and provide OCI and multicloud solutions which they can use to meet their objectives.
  • Developing technical documentation together with best practice guidelines and operational knowledge materials.
  • Provides 24×7 operational support through rotating shifts to guarantee that systems remain accessible at all times.
  • works with Oracle internal departments to resolve critical problems which impact cloud-based AI environments.
  • Sharing architectural design suggestions together with technical results to both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications

  • Needs over six years of experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Engineered Systems and Oracle Database Administration.
  • Possesses strong practical skills which enable him to handle all aspects of Oracle Database technologies and RAC and ASM and database backup and recovery and performance optimization tasks.
  • Experience in managing database systems which operate in cloud and hybrid and multicloud environments.
  • Demonstrates exceptional skills to interact with customers while delivering advice and resolving their challenges.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication abilities in both written and spoken English.
  • Readiness to fulfill night shift duties and office-based work obligations as needed.
