Job Description

EY is hiring a Blockchain-DAML Developer Senior  to develop enterprise applications using Blockchain, DAML, and Canton technologies. This role entails smart contract creation, development of integrations, application testing and scalability of web services. Excellent experience in cloud technology, Azure, DevOps, APIs, database and Agile methodology is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Canton-based applications using DAML and blockchain technologies.
  • Design DAML models, workflows, smart contracts, integrations, and ledger-facing APIs.
  • Develop scalable web solutions that address complex business requirements and client needs.
  • Provide technical direction across application development, systems integration, architecture, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with product teams, clients, and technical teams while managing delivery and resolving technical issues.

Requirements

  • Possess 6-10 years of web application development experience, including a minimum of 2 years’ experience in blockchain.
  • Possess good knowledge in Ethereum/Canton, smart contracts and their usage through DAML/Solidity.
  • Have experience in using Scala, Clojure, Elm, Node.js, REST APIs, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular / React.
  • Have experience in clouds such as Azure / AWS, Git, Azure DevOps, database, and build automation tools.
  • Have strong communication skills, Agile development, software engineering, testing / debugging, and team management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in building enterprise application with the help of Canton, DAML, blockchain, and distributed ledger.
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture with a focus on scalability, availability, security, resilience, performance, and monitoring.
  • Understanding of PKI, message queue, external signing, participant environment, domain, and onboarding.
  • Hands-on experience in designing tests and debugging of DAML applications from development, testing, to production phase.
  • Ability to evaluate new technology, design solution, support engineering team, and help other technical people.
