Oracle is looking for a Senior Consultant, Fusion Cloud HCM Functional to be part of the Oracle Customer Success Services (CSS) team. This position is responsible for providing functional support of the best quality, resolving incidents, assisting in the configuration, and driving the development of the Oracle Fusion HCM solutions. 

The consultant will interact with worldwide clients, managing important service incidents, empowering end-users, aiding in the adoption of changes every quarter, and promoting the use of Oracle HCM Cloud according to the best practices.

Main Tasks

Incident & Service Request Management

  • Troubleshoot, replicate, and resolve complex functional and technical issues in Oracle Fusion HCM.
  • Manage high-priority and business-critical incidents, escalating to Oracle Support when required.
  • Log, track, and drive Service Requests (SRs) to full resolution using My Oracle Support.

End-User Support & Enablement

  • Respond to “how-to” queries, configuration questions, and navigation issues.
  • Conduct onboarding, refresher, and update training sessions for business users.
  • Act as the primary functional point of contact for customer issues.

Configuration & Administration

  • Assist with SaaS configurations including workflows, business rules, approvals, roles, reports, and data security.
  • Support minor configuration changes and functional testing in production and preview environments.
  • Perform regression testing during quarterly updates.

Release & Patch Readiness

  • Review Oracle “What’s New” documents and assess business impact.
  • Pre-test quarterly updates in sandboxes and guide customers on changes and risks.
  • Coordinate and execute UAT and regression testing activities.

Integration & Data Flow Support

  • Monitor and troubleshoot integrations, APIs, inbound/outbound file flows, and OIC/OFS interfaces.
  • Coordinate with IT teams and integration partners to resolve data and interface issues.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

  • Create, review, and maintain Knowledge Articles, FAQs, and functional documentation.
  • Share knowledge through team training sessions and collaborative forums.

Customer Experience & Advocacy

  • Act as a customer advocate by identifying recurring issues and recommending process or system improvements
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security standards, and SaaS best practices (configure > extend > customize).

Essential Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree (BE, BTech, MCA) or MBA is required.
  • The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in Oracle Fusion HCM implementation, support, or upgrade projects.
  • The candidate should also have experience in one end-to-end SaaS HCM implementation.
  • The candidate should possess strong functional expertise in HR Fusion HCM modules such as: Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, OTL, ORC, Talent, Performance, Absence, and Learn.
  • The candidate should have hands-on experience with L1/L2/L3 support models.
  • The candidate should be strong in analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • The candidate must be able to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • The candidate should know Fusion Cloud architecture and Setup Manager.
  • Experience with FBDI, OTBI, and BI Publisher (BIP) reports is a plus.
  • Exposure to external data integrations from legacy or third-party systems is an advantage.
  • Security configuration and data roles knowledge is a plus.
  • The candidate may have some experience with SQL, OTBI, BIP, and Redwood UI.
  • Communication, stakeholder management, and training skills should be strong.
  • The candidate should ideally have experience in Managed Services, offshore delivery, and KPI-driven customer success.
