Job Description

SAP needs a Data Product Engineer for Master Data position who will create reusable high-quality data products to implement the company’s AI-first strategy. The position requires building scalable data solutions which use SAP Business Data Cloud to support analytics and drive AI-powered processes throughout the organization. Candidates will work with multiple teams to create data models while developing new solutions that match the needs of rapidly changing technologies.

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

Main Duties:

  • Develop reusable and high-quality data products for Master Data to support AI-driven business processes.
  • Design and implement data models and analytical datasets using SAP Datasphere, SAP HANA, and Databricks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
  • Build and optimize SQL-based data pipelines, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Work in agile environments (Scrum/SAFe) to continuously improve data systems and innovation.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Five years of work experience in consulting and development positions which focus on analytics. 
  • Advanced skills for developing data models and writing SQL code.
  • Experience with SAP Datasphere, SAP HANA and HANA Cloud and similar platforms.
  • Demonstrates the ability to resolve advanced technical problems which occur in business environments.
  • Possesses strong abilities for working with others and conveying information to different audiences.

Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrate their ability to work with SAP platforms which include S/4HANA and CRM and MDG systems. 
  • Needs to have programming skills in Python which would be beneficial for their work. 
  • Experience working with Databricks and cloud-based data platforms. 
  • The candidate has worked in Agile and Scrum and SAFe methodologies. 
  • Possesses strong problem-solving abilities which enable him to learn and use new technologies.
