Job Description

Wipro is hiring a CTO – Blockchain Consultant in Bengaluru to provide strategic guidance, solution design, and implementation oversight for digital asset initiatives. The role focuses on blockchain adoption, stablecoin solutions, trading platforms, and cross-chain interoperability. Candidates should bring strong EVM expertise, security knowledge, business acumen, and experience translating complex requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate blockchain adoption strategies for stablecoin, trading, tokenization, and interoperability projects.
  • Create reference architectures around stablecoin lifecycle, trading systems, custody services, and compliance processes.
  • Educate developer teams about smart contract security, auditing, performance tuning, and deployment.
  • Review vendors offering Oracle services, custody services, interoperability, and other enabling technologies.
  • Consult executive management and technical professionals in the preparation of business cases, roadmaps, and ROI.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in consulting or solution architect positions related to blockchain.
  • Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in EVM chains, Layer 2, Cosmos SDK, and interoperability.
  • Experience with stablecoin protocols, crypto trading platforms, custody, and digital asset solutions.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of smart contract audit, MPC custody, regulation, KYC/AML, and Travel Rule.
  • Skill to map business requirements into security and scalability solutions through effective communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DeFi protocols, liquidity, MEV prevention, and other advanced digital asset solutions.
  • Experience with enterprise blockchain platforms like Hyperledger and Quorum used for business purposes.
  • Understanding of stablecoin issuance, redemption, reserve management, custody, compliance, and life cycle management.
  • CAMS, CISM, Ethereum Developer certifications, or any other professional certification.
  • Experience with evaluating new technologies and working with engineering teams in the Wipro enterprise environment.
