Job Description

Capgemini needs an AI/Gen AI Lead who will be responsible for setting up the AI and machine learning strategies of Capgemini, mentoring their data science teams and providing innovative technological solutions to their customers. This position is right at the center of agentic AI, generative AI, NLP, deep learning and large language models and goes much further than just technology into project management and enterprise-wide implementation.

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction in AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI projects.
  • Have ownership over entire life cycles of AI projects from data sourcing all the way to evaluation.
  • Creating solutions that are built on NLP, deep learning, large language models, statistics, and data visualization.
  • Communicating the results of complicated technical processes to business partners who could take action.
  • Managing a team of data scientists, MLOps engineers, machine learning engineers, and solution architects.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in building and implementing AI, Machine Learning, Gen AI, and Agentic AI models.
  • Solid understanding of NLP, deep learning, statistical techniques, and data visualization.
  • Knowledge of Python, R, and other AI/ML development platforms.
  • Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms and AI/ML capabilities on these platforms.
  • Understanding of MLOps, data security and privacy, and Agile principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leadership experience running data science teams.
  • Experience in TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or similar deep learning frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience working with LLMs like Gemini, GPT, and BERT in NLP applications.
  • Strong background in big data tools such as Apache Spark and Hadoop.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, ideally demonstrated in a leadership capacity.
