Job Description

Accenture is hiring a BI Engineering Senior Analyst in Bengaluru to develop and manage business intelligence solutions. Power BI dashboards, Tableau reports, SQL queries, DAX, Power Query, ETL, and data modeling. The other responsibilities will be reporting governance, improving dashboards, data validation, stakeholder engagements, and finding analytics solutions.

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Create Power BI dashboard, Tableau visuals, report, slicer, and drill-through.
  • Create SQL query, DAX measure, and Power Query transformation for reporting purposes.
  • Provide support to ETL processes, data validation, KPI calculations, and enterprise- or cloud-based data source integration.
  • Improve the performance of the dashboard in adherence to reporting guidelines on security and workspace management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and translate requirements into analytics solutions. 

Requirements

  • Three to five years of professional experience in BI development, analysis, reporting, and any other technological field.
  • Expertise in dashboard, KPI reporting, storytelling, and enterprise reporting.
  • Skilled in methods of data warehousing, star schema, dimensional model, and slowly changing dimensions.
  • Expertise in data warehousing, KPI reporting, star schema, dimensional modeling, and dashboard.
  • Communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Practical experience in using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Snowflake, or any other analytics tool.
  • Practical experience in developing Power BI, which includes dashboards, DAX, Power Query, visualisation, and reports.
  • Practical experience in row-level security, reporting governance, workspace optimisation, and dashboard optimisation.
  • Data validation, report testing, and documentation experience.
  • Effective communication skills, teamwork skills, problem solving, stakeholder management, and self-starter.
