Job Description

Infosys is hiring a Technology Consultant 2 for its Technology Lead team in Alpharetta, Georgia. The position focuses on blockchain application support, software development, production troubleshooting, and automation. The role requires experience with Python, Bash or Node.js, crypto applications, and SDLC practices. Strong Unix, SQL, cloud, testing, dashboarding, and cross-functional collaboration skills are preferred for successful delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Document business requirements for use in application design discussions, documentation, and solution creation.
  • Design, integrate, test, and support application functionality, while ensuring application stability and quality.
  • Perform code reviews, repository management, testing result analysis, and application defect correction.
  • Manage production problems and implement preventive measures to enhance application reliability and efficiency.
  • Create technical documentation, user training material, and support documentation.

Requirements

  • Knowledge in blockchain technology and creation of application environment support.
  • Familiarity with Python, Bash, or Node.js scripting for automation and log analysis purposes.
  • Hands-on experience in providing support to crypto applications and solving their technical problems.
  • Skills in managing the full SDLC cycle from requirements gathering to implementation.
  • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, along with good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Effective utilization of Unix commands and the techniques of relational databases, especially SQL.
  • Practical knowledge of cloud computing tools such as AWS or Kubernetes.
  • Practical knowledge of dashboard development using tools like Kibana, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, or Datadog.
  • Awareness of service management, monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting procedures as per the ITIL methodology.
  • Ability to relocate or travel and practical experience of working with technical teams.
