Google is seeking to hire a Technical Solutions Engineer who will specialize in Databases to provide support for customers using Google Cloud Platform. The position requires professionals to resolve database problems through infrastructure troubleshooting and code debugging while helping enterprise clients implement cloud technologies.

Main Duties:
- Manage customer technical issues through diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution across Google Cloud Platform products.
- Understand product architectures by reproducing issues, identifying root causes, and developing diagnostic tools.
- Provide level two technical support and collaborate with engineering, sales, and customer teams.
- Act as a subject matter expert to resolve deployment challenges and improve cloud solutions.
- Advocate for customer needs with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and performance.
- Work within a global team ensuring 24×7 customer support coverage.
- Improve documentation, tools, and processes to enhance product usability and adoption.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience for debugging code which uses Java, C/C++, Python, JavaScript and Go programming languages.
- Demonstrate 5 years of experience with SQL/NoSQL database systems.
- Experience in technical support and professional services together with software development and product operations.
- Fluent English communication skills for effective interaction with international stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in working with distributed databases and data processing frameworks.
- Cloud networking technologies and distributed computing concepts.
- Demonstrate system or network administration skills in both Linux and Unix environments.
- Technologies which include HTTP and DNS and TCP.
- Experience working with open-source communities and using cloud platforms such as Google App Engine.
