Salesforce is looking for a Technical Consultant / Senior Technical Consultant with experience in Salesforce Loyalty Cloud to be part of its Customer Success team in India. The person in this position will be responsible for designing, building, and delivering loyalty solutions that are scalable and in turn, will help improve customer engagement and retention. The preferred applicant will be someone who has very good practical knowledge of Salesforce development, has been tried and tested in dealing directly with customers, and possesses the skill to manage complicated loyalty projects from start to finish.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement Salesforce Loyalty Management solutions to support member enrollment, earn/burn rules, tier management, promotions, vouchers, benefits, partner loyalty, and other use cases.
  • Modify and enhance the Loyalty Cloud using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and OmniStudio when necessary.
  • Create scalable data models that fit loyalty, commerce, and customer engagement use cases.
  • Establish and support connections with eCommerce platforms, POS systems, partner systems and third party loyalty engines.
  • Work with REST/SOAP APIs and event-driven architecture in combination with asynchronous processing.
  • Be a technical thought leader, interpreting business needs into strong technical frameworks and directing clients on best practices.
  • Adhere to Salesforce Services guidelines for development, testing, CI/CD, and release management.
  • Guide less experienced developers and work on internal assets, facilitators, and best practices.
  • Go to customer locations as needed (up to 50%, depending on the engagement).

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of pertinent development or technical consulting experience.
  • Considerable programming background with Apex, JavaScript, and one object-oriented language at least (Java, C#, Python, etc.).
  • Experience with Salesforce data architecture, declarative automation (Flows, Validation Rules), and API-based connections.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analysis, and communication skills.
  • Capacity to work alone, assume responsibility, and function in customer-interacting situations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous work with Salesforce Loyalty Management is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Industry Clouds like Retail, Consumer Goods, Communications, or Financial Services is a plus.
  • Introduction to Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, or Einstein AI.
  • Familiarity with OmniStudio, event-driven architecture, and DevOps/CI/CD tools (Git, Copado, Gearset).
  • Salesforce certifications like Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, or JavaScript Developer I.
