Job Description

Databricks is looking to hire a Program Lead for AI Tooling to join its Professional Services team in India. The position requires the candidate to create and implement AI tools and workflows which will improve operational efficiency and automated processes and customer service results. The candidate will work closely with engineering, operations, and field teams to identify high-impact use cases, build prototypes using the Databricks platform and third-party technologies, and drive adoption across the organization through structured programs and collaboration.

Main Duties

  • Design and implement AI-powered internal tools and workflows to improve delivery quality, speed, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify high-impact AI use cases across Professional Services functions such as project delivery, QA, and proposal development.
  • Develop proofs of concept using Python, SQL, Databricks platform capabilities, and relevant APIs or third-party tools.
  • Lead roadmap planning, stakeholder collaboration, workshops, and onboarding sessions to make sure a successful tool adoption.
  • Measure tool effectiveness, gather feedback, and continuously iterate to improve functionality and business value.

Essential Qualifications

  • Applicants to hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or any related technical field.
  • Candidates must have at least five years of experience in technical program management and product and solutions engineering work.
  • Demonstrates deep expertise in Python and SQL and AI technologies which encompass LLMs and copilots and prompt engineering.
  • Candidate has successfully developed automation tools and workflows and internal platforms which produced tangible results for the business.
  • Excellent communication abilities which enable him to work together with different technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Databricks notebooks and platform functions and data engineering systems and artificial intelligence development environments.
  • Knowledge about RAG pipelines and AI system integration and enterprise AI implementation methods.
  • Dynamic environments where they can develop minimum viable products through incremental delivery methods.
  • Experience with leading initiatives that require training and organizational transformation through adoption programs.
  • Possesses strong analytical skills which enable them to evaluate multiple factors that impact solution delivery speed and delivery capacity and delivery system performance.
