Main Duties
- Develop a team of Data and AI professionals who serve customer needs in your designated region.
- Services throughout APJ and EMEA territories while providing round-the-clock service.
- Enterprise clients to identify their business requirements and technical problems.
- Implementation of new features and products from Databricks.
- Engineering teams will work together with you to enhance platform security.
- Both peak system performance and operational stability for customer production systems.
- Handle advanced data engineering tasks and artificial intelligence workloads which include system optimization and stabilization.
Essential Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience leading technical teams.
- Over twelve years of IT experience which includes expertise in software engineering and data engineering.
- Experience using Big Data technologies including Spark and Hadoop and Kafka.
- Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science workloads.
- Demonstrates exceptional ability to diagnose problems that occur in distributed computer systems.
- Experience working directly with customers in technical support and consulting and engineering positions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field to qualify for this position.
- Ownership skills which enable him to succeed in high-speed work environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Implementing Apache Spark for operational use at production capacity.
- Experience of using cloud data platforms which operate on distributed systems.
- Demonstrates strong capacity to work together with teams that operate in different locations across the world.
- Experience working with enterprise customers and implementing large-scale systems throughout their professional career.
- Leadership to teams while leading them towards achieving exceptional technical standards.
