IBM is looking to employ a Junior AI Engineer who will develop advanced AI systems for Source-to-Pay (S2P) transformation projects. The role requires the development of autonomous AI systems through Watsonx Orchestrate and open-source tools while working with worldwide teams to create automation solutions that enhance procurement and accounts payable functions across all regions.

Main Duties

  • Assistance to create and evaluate AI agents and automation solutions which will handle Source-to-Pay (S2P) operations.
  • Create and sustain data pipelines which will run their ETL workflows according to established procedures. 
  • Global partners from S2P and CIO and Chief Data Office and Consulting. 
  • Participation in code reviews and technical discussions and team meetings. 
  • Documentation for code and development processes and system workflows. 
  • Agentic AI solutions which they deploy through IBM Watsonx Orchestrate. 
  • The team requires business problems to be converted into AI-based solutions which will enable them to achieve better operational results.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or related fields. 
  • Solid background in Python programming skills. 
  • Learned SQL and fundamental database knowledge through their academic studies and project work. 
  • Knowledge about data pipelines and ETL processes. 
  • Enthusiasm for developing AI systems and building automation tools and creating enterprise solutions. 
  • Demonstrates proficient English skills for both written and spoken communication. 
  • Effectively collaborate with team members from different countries in a global work setting.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of IBM Watsonx Orchestrate or any equivalent AI automation platform. 
  • Experience using data mining and analytics software tools. 
  • Obtained fundamental knowledge of SAP BTP and Integration Suite. 
  • Demonstrates understanding of SAP integration concepts which include OData and APIs and event-driven architectures. 
  • Skill can acquire new AI technologies and enterprise platforms through fast learning and adaptation.
