Main Duties
- Support Engineering team is required to function as India site leader while handling operations during APJ and EMEA business times.
- Manage big teams which consist of Data & AI experts who perform their duties with high efficiency.
- Work with customers to help them manage their production operations while we enhance their system performance and platform durability.
- Help customers to implement new Databricks features and products during their actual business operations.
- Handle customer data platforms to guarantee they function at maximum capacity without any interruptions.
Essential Qualifications
- 18+ years of experience in IT with a strong background in Software and Data Engineering.
- 6+ years of experience managing managers and leading large technical teams (100+).
- Expertise in Big Data and distributed systems (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
- Strong customer-facing leadership and troubleshooting experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrate practical Spark skills through their experience working on actual production systems.
- Practical experience in handling Machine Learning, AI and Data Science tasks.
- Experience in working with cloud data systems that support enterprise-level operations.
Capacity to perform in environments that experience rapid development while carrying out their work.
