Main Duties

  • Prepare, install, diagnose, troubleshoot, replace, and decommission data center equipment under guidance of senior technicians.
  • Contribute to issue tracking and escalate technical problems for timely resolution.
  • Complete assigned service tickets in line with KPIs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Participate in daily safety briefings and adhere strictly to safety procedures including electrical and equipment handling standards.
  • Follow security and data management protocols, including required security training compliance.
  • Maintain strong client focus to understand service impact while executing tasks.
  • Support a collaborative team environment through knowledge sharing and regular team engagement.
  • Demonstrate ownership and accountability for service quality and data center operational excellence.
  • Embody Microsoft’s culture of respect, integrity, accountability, and inclusion.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Completed High/Secondary School, GED, apprenticeship/vocational qualification, or equivalent experience.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware and components.
  • Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check (upon hire and every two years thereafter).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technologies.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+) or Basic Structure Cabling (BSC).
  • Familiarity with structured cabling, server hardware, and data center operations best practices.
