Job Description

Google is searching for an AI Practice Director who will be responsible for developing and implementing AI solutions throughout the Google Cloud platform in India. The position involves helping enterprise customers implement cloud-based AI systems while working together with sales teams and engineering teams and product development teams. The director will manage extensive AI projects while helping partners and using Artificial Intelligence and cloud-native systems to boost customer success.

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Experience: 15+ years in Cloud, AI, or Infrastructure technology leadership

Main Duties:

  • Lead and expand the AI practice within the Google Cloud Customer Engineering organization in India.
  • Drive adoption and growth of Cloud AI and Applied AI solutions among enterprise customers.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer engineering leadership to achieve business and revenue objectives.
  • Coordinate activities of Cloud AI specialists to ensure unified engagement with high-growth enterprise accounts.
  • Serve as a technical AI leader supporting client engagements, strategy consulting, and solution adoption.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or possess equivalent practical experience gained through their work in the industry. 
  • 15 years of experience in sales positions that involve either Infrastructure-as-a-Service or Platform-as-a-Service. 
  • Fifteen years working as a pre-sales leader and as a cloud solution architect who carried sales quotas. 
  • Ten years working directly with customers while overseeing various business functions that included consulting and technical project management. 
  • Direct experience with cloud-native architectural systems and contemporary technology frameworks which enable companies to grow their operations.

Preferred Skills:

  • MBA degree or a Master of Science degree in Computer Science or a similar technology field. 
  • Experience working in the technology markets of digital-native companies and Indian enterprise organizations.
  • Demonstrates capacity to work together with sales departments and product teams and engineering staff. 
  • Experience in managing technology operations in organizations that experience rapid growth while expanding their technology capabilities.
