Main Duties
- Work together with Product Management, Engineering, UX and Program Management teams to develop Geo products using data-driven methods.
- Manage a group of data scientists and analysts who demonstrate outstanding performance in their work.
- Conduct comprehensive data investigations which include statistical modeling and time-series analysis to generate business and product data-driven insights.
- Use complex data results to create simple yet effective narratives which target corporate executives.
- Develop data layers, metrics and models which enable Geo Operations to implement AI solutions.
- Use advanced attribution modeling methods to assess how product growth and user engagement and reach abilities are affected.
- Identify strategic opportunities which exist throughout Maps user journeys and APIs and routing quality.
- Make decisions which will affect deployments that exceed a value of $400 million.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 10 years of experience in analytics, statistical analysis, and coding (Python, R, SQL), or 8 years with a Master’s degree.
- 3 years of experience as a people manager in a technical leadership role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with ambiguous problem statements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline.
- 12 years of experience in advanced analytics and data science.
- 4 years of experience managing personnel within a technical work environment.
- Excellent abilities to create data visualizations and tell stories through data.
- experience in shaping executive decisions throughout major corporate organizations.
