Main Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of implementation and operational activities for essential autonomous database platform services.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain autonomous database services through architectural design and reliability testing and scalability assessment.
  • Respond to production problems by developing systems that automate operations and create self-repairing functions and establish continuous system monitoring.
  • Work on developing platform services through activities that involve system provisioning and configuration and deployment and support tasks.
  • Work with remote teams to create new database platform services through the prototyping process.
  • Create new solutions for cloud infrastructure systems and DevOps operational methods.

Essential Qualifications

  • 6 to 10 or more years of experience in database platforms together with cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering work.
  • Advanced expertise in Oracle Database technologies through practical work with RAC and Data Guard and ASM and RMAN and performance tuning.
  • Extensive knowledge of Oracle Engineered Systems and Exadata environments.
  • Demonstrates Linux system administration skills through mastery of RHEL and OEL operating systems.
  • Experience in using Python and shell scripting to automate processes.
  • Demonstrates abilities to identify and resolve intricate hardware and software problems by using root cause analysis techniques.
  • Exceptional abilities in communication and analytical thinking and problem-solving.
