Job Description

Wipro is looking to employ an experienced AI-SRE (DevOps) Lead who will oversee the operation and automation of AI productivity platforms throughout the organization. The position requires support for AI code assistant tools while implementing DevOps automation and working with both vendors and engineering teams to achieve corporate-wide system implementation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and support AI Code Assistant tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, Copilot, and Codex.
  • Drive vendor collaboration for successful AI tool rollouts and feature enhancements.
  • Build automation scripts using Python or Bash to streamline platform operations and reporting.
  • Support DevOps platforms including GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions.
  • Monitor adoption metrics, usage patterns, and performance of AI developer tools.
  • Collaborate closely with multiple engineering and developer teams in large enterprise environments.

Technical & Delivery Responsibilities

  • Use configuration management tools to automate the entire process of infrastructure provisioning.
  • Establish connections with REST APIs which they will use for reporting purposes and query operations and integration tasks.
  • Provides enterprises with documentation materials which include FAQs and quick-start guides to facilitate their adoption process.
  • Work with senior engineers to identify and solve complex platform problems which need escalation.
  • Support rollout activities and socialization efforts which involve developer and platform teams.

Qualifications Required

  • Candidates need to possess 5 to 8 years of engineering experience which includes DevOps and platform operations and IT support work.
  • Demonstrate practical experience with AI developer tools which include Copilot and Cursor and Windsurf and their equivalent platforms.
  • Demonstrate advanced Linux and Unix administration capabilities together with Python and Bash scripting skills.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with GitHub and Git workflows and the complete range of DevOps tools.
  • Capacity to work successfully with teams from different departments in large organizational environments.
