Primary Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy and maintain Oracle databases which operate both in Azure Cloud and in local data center spaces. 
  • Perform advanced activities which involve performance tuning and troubleshooting and security hardening procedures. 
  • Handle all aspects of Oracle database management which includes installation and upgrading and migrating and patching and implementing the system. 
  • Set up and manage systems which provide uninterrupted service and backup solutions through RAC technology. 
  • Create cost-effective solutions which enable excellent operation of cloud database services. 

Technical & Support Responsibilities

  • Install and control and fix Infrastructure as Code systems which they built using Terraform and Ansible. 
  • Control Oracle 12c and 19c databases which run on Unix systems in both standalone and RAC environments. 
  • Handle ASM and RMAN operations for backup and recovery while monitoring the database through AWR and ADDM tools. 
  • Handle urgent incidents which require immediate resolution together with overseeing change requests and vendor escalations. 
  • Deliver root cause analysis for major incidents while participating in severity bridge calls together with business teams.

Qualifications Required

  • Candidates need to demonstrate expertise through practical work with Oracle Database Infrastructure and PaaS services. 
  • Absolute proficiency in both Azure Cloud and cloud database operations for successful execution. 
  • Possess advanced skills which enable them to understand Oracle RAC architecture while performing database performance tuning and SQL optimization tasks. 
  • Possesses experience in using automation tools including Terraform Ansible Shell PowerShell and PL SQL. 
  • Demonstrates exceptional problem-solving abilities through their extensive knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management.
