Oracle is hiring a Senior AI/Cloud Engineer to join its Data Platform team in India. This role focuses on designing and deploying highly available OCI-based architectures, automating infrastructure with Terraform, and supporting enterprise-grade data and AI platforms. They will work across cloud infrastructure, DevOps, databases, and observability to power next-generation enterprise data products.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create and design OCI solutions which provide high availability for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • Execute monitoring and optimization processes for Oracle Database services which include Autonomous Database and Exadata Cloud.
  • Establish zero-trust security through the combined use of IAM Vault encryption and enterprise security standards.
  • Create modular infrastructure systems through Terraform and OCI Resource Manager while building continuous integration and delivery systems.
  • Use Java Python Bash and OCI REST APIs to create automated workflows which include designing secure network systems.
  • Establish observability through OCI Monitoring and Prometheus and Grafana while managing incident response and system enhancements.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • The candidate must possess at least three years of practical experience in cloud infrastructure engineering work.
  • The applicant needs to demonstrate expert-level skills in Terraform along with Infrastructure as Code implementation methods.
  • The individual demonstrates advanced knowledge of automation and scripting abilities through their expertise in Java Python and Bash programming languages.
  • The candidate possesses comprehensive knowledge about Oracle Database services and performance optimization and system implementation.
  • The individual demonstrates solid understanding of cloud networking concepts which include VCN and routing and VPNs and load balancers.
  • The individual demonstrates strong understanding of cloud security principles together with IAM systems and encryption methods and vault management practices.
