As a Lead Cloud Architect, you will drive end-to-end cloud architecture, solution development, and delivery across OCI, DRCC, and Alloy Cloud. This strategic, customer-facing role combines technical leadership, presales solutioning, and enterprise cloud transformation, collaborating with C-level stakeholders, sales, and delivery teams to design secure, scalable, and business-aligned cloud solutions.

Main Responsibilities

Cloud Structure and Solution Creation

  • Become the expert in the global cloud structure and bring the cloud design for the platforms of OCI, DRCC, and Alloy to life.
  • Turn complicated business requirements into cloud designs that are safe, flexible, and economical.
  • By providing architecture blueprints, reference architectures, and cloud roadmaps, you are able to communicate your ideas with others.

Cloud Implementation and Deliverance

  • Supervise the execution of migrations, DR/BCP, modernization, and optimization which are large-scale cloud transformation projects.
  • Take charge of the programs for security modernization, observability enablement, and platform rationalization.
  • Make sure that the architecture aligns with Oracle’s best practices and customer goals.

Presales & Customer Engagement

  • During customer engagements, be the trustful advisor and the source of innovative ideas.
  • Interact at the CXO-level and conduct solution workshops, architecture reviews, PoCs, and executive briefings.
  • Be part of the activities related to RFP/RFI responses, solution proposals, and bid defense.

Automation, DevOps & Governance

  • Be the one who leads the implementation of Terraform and OCI Resource Manager for Infrastructure as Code adoption.
  • Support the DevSecOps practices, automation, and scripting (Shell/Python) by providing them with the necessary resources and facilities.
  • Create governance models, documentation standards, and delivery frameworks that are practice-based.

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Provide the Technical leadership and mentoring support to the consultants and engineers located in different parts of the world.
  • Formulate strategies in collaboration with sales, and product and delivery teams, to increase the demand for new and existing services through additional sales and upselling opportunities.
  • Encourage the introduction and use of new business models and technological advances of the OCI services and capabilities.

Essential Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of professional work experience which consisted of and included enterprise IT and cloud solutions as their main focus.
  • An impressive track record of hands-on work with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), DRCC, and/or Alloy Cloud.

A wealth of knowledge in:

  • OCI Core Services (Networking, Compute, Storage, IAM)
  • Cloud Security & Compliance
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Observability and DevOps practices
  • Moreover, a strong background in architecture reviews, PoCs, and solution development.
  • Top-notch communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to take on a complex, multi-phase cloud transformation project and lead it to success without help.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification as an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional.

Further certifications:

  • Oracle Cloud Security / Multicloud / Autonomous Database
  • AWS Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional)
  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • CSM, ITIL Foundation/Intermediate
  • Knowledge of multicloud and hybrid architectures (OCI–Azure, OCI–AWS interconnect).
  • Acquaintance with sovereign cloud models, Alloy Cloud frameworks, and regulated environments.
  • Substantial participation in BFSI, Telecom, Manufacturing, or Public Sector transformations domains.
  • Experience in the design of internal frameworks, automation IPs, or reusable architectural patterns.
