Key Responsibilities
- Experimentation, designing, developing, and optimizing machine learning as well as computer vision algorithms
- Constructing and modifying deep learning models based on convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for the purposes of image categorization and detection of objects
- Prototyping and assessing machine learning methods for actual, very large datasets
- Forming applied artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions by taking part in the customers’ activities and discovery workshops
- Building, training, testing, and tuning neural networks
- Creating machine-learning systems that can scale and products that are data-driven
- Working with teams from different functions in an Agile environment
- Advocating for machine learning and artificial intelligence through research, teaching, or community involvement
Essential Qualifications
- At least 2 years to a maximum of 5 years in the field of machine learning or artificial intelligence
- A programming background in Python, Java, or C++ would be very advantageous
- Practical experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Caffe, or Torch
- Familiarity with supervised and unsupervised learning methods
- Understanding of CNNs, statistical modeling, and data analysis
- Working experience on cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Big Data Platforms –Hadoop, Spark, Hive, or Kafka.
- Familiarity with OpenCV, Google Cloud Vision, or other similar computer vision libraries.
- Experience with NLP, Recommendation Systems, Ranking Systems, and Pattern Recognition.
- Networking or publications in conferences/communities related to ML and AI.
