As a Data and Analytics Presales Architect, the person is positioned in the middle of data platforms, analytics, and AI, assisting clients in innovating their choices and processes through the utilization of merged data bases. 

This position is customer-oriented and focused on solutions, thus the architect’s strong presales skills, the ability to think in terms of architecture, and the talent for storytelling that focuses on the value created by AI-powered data solutions, would be required to convince both business and IT leaders.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct customer workshops, demos, and RFP solutioning to convert business issues into data lakehouse and AI-enabled use cases. 
  • Convince top management and technical staff of Oracle’s AI Data Platform, Analytics, and AI solutions. 
  • Build and provide demo materials, POCs, and customer discussions that are engaging and persuasive.

Solution Architecture & Design

  • Create modern data and analytics architectures that cover data lakes, lakehouses, and enterprise applications. 
  • Use advanced integration patterns to connect Oracle SaaS, on-prem, and third-party systems. 
  • Deploy selective AI capabilities like GenAI, RAG, vector search, and intelligent automation only where they bring business value. 
  • Render architectural choices, effort estimates, and staffing/schedule inputs for customer engagements.

Technical Thought Leadership

  • Contribute to blogs, whitepapers, and reusable presales assets.
  • Represent Oracle’s Data and Analytics portfolio in technology forums and external events.
  • Mentor junior solution engineers in presales methodologies and demo storytelling.

Essential Qualifications

  • A minimum of 12 years’ experience (preferably more) in IT / Solution Architecture with over 6 years’ experience in Data Integration, Warehouse, and Analytics is a requirement.
  • 3 – 5 years of presales or solutioning experience (examples of this include conducting demos, POCs and customer workshops).
  • Broad knowledge of Data Warehousing, Data Lakehouses, and Analytics
  • Familiarity with Oracle technologies such as Oracle Database, Oracle Data Integration, Oracle Cloud Analytics and Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence.
  • Experience with AI/ML, GenAI, LLMs, Python, and Advanced Analytics is an asset.
  • Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with CxOs and other senior leaders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures is a plus.
  • Knowledge of platforms such as Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Having a strong background in enterprise integration architecture, scalability, security, and compliance is desirable.
  • Participation in publication of technical content or speaking at industry events would be an added advantage.
  • Will be able to work as a trusted advisor to customers during their data modernization and AI transformation initiatives.
