Job Description

Capgemini is hiring a Telco AI and Data Engineering professional to architect telecom network solutions and support advanced data, AI, and analytics initiatives. The role involves designing autonomous network capabilities, modernizing telecom platforms, leading solution architecture and presales activities, and advising customers across complex RAN, Core, Transport, cloud, and data environments. 

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree

Responsibilities

  • Create comprehensive telecom solutions from RAN, Core, Transport, to various technological networking environments.
  • Create data and artificial intelligence platforms for self-governing networks, closed loop assurance, and automation by intent.
  • Manage presales engagements on solution architecture, proposals, estimating, costing, and presenting to customers.
  • Foster greenfield architecture initiatives and telecom data platform modernization.
  • Drive architecture choices in complicated telecom, cloud, data, analytics, and artificial intelligence environments.

Requirements

  • Have at least 9-12 years of experience in telecom analytics, data engineering, data science, or similar areas.
  • Show good familiarity with RAN, Core Networks, BSC, BTS, MSC, EPC, 5GC, and Packet Core.
  • Be familiar with circuit switching, packet switching, IP transport, and telecom architecture environments.
  • Have knowledge of network transformation, data platform, analytics solution, AI, and cloud technologies.
  • Show competence in merging telecom domain knowledge with data engineering, analytics, and AI technology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in developing solutions in 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, RAN, Core and Transport domains.
  • Experience in building AI and data platforms to enable autonomous network features and network intelligence solutions.
  • Experience in greenfield architectures and modernization of legacy telecom technology ecosystems.
  • Experience in presales, technical proposals, estimations, costing and customer presentations.
  • Proven customer advisory, architecture, communication and problem-solving skills in telecom transformation projects.
