Job Description

Accenture is hiring a test automation engineer in Bengaluru to strengthen its quality engineering team and drive reliable software delivery across enterprise platforms. The role focuses on building automation frameworks, ensuring application quality and taking part in testing processes using Agile. The most suitable person for the role should have relevant experience in Selenium WebDriver, API testing and working in teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design test scenarios and test cases from the business and functional requirements of the enterprise software platforms.
  • Functional testing, integration testing, system testing, regression testing, and end-to-end testing must be performed for assuring reliability of the software.
  • Automated test scripts need to be developed, executed, and analyzed for improving the quality.
  • The API testing and backend testing have to be performed to make sure that data integrity is preserved in integrated systems.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders during Agile / Scrum events, as well as prepare the quality metrics and release documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in software testing; manual and automated testing experience will add as a benefit.
  • Extensive experience in Selenium WebDriver, programming in Java and Python, and testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber/BDD.
  • Experience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured and SQL DB testing.
  • DevOps experience in JIRA, Confluence, Git, and Jenkins.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology, sprint planning; defect prioritization, and test estimation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in quality engineering positions using enterprise-quality digital products.
  • Certification in ISTQB, Selenium, or equivalent automation testing certification.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques and non-functional testing approaches.
  • Experience contributing to automation strategies within cross-functional consulting teams.
  • Educational experience of 15 years of schooling.
