Cognizant is  recruiting for the position of Manager – Consulting in Hyderabad. This is an opportunity to be involved in managing complicated client projects and making solutions based on the business needs. The responsibilities of this hybrid role will include business analysis, business analytics, planning, process improvements, and operational model optimizations for achieving business goals. There will also be tasks like requirements management, functional documentation, stakeholder workshop management, business case development, and interaction with cross-functional consulting teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex consulting engagements by converting client goals into analytical activities that drive process enhancements and deliver sustained business value.
• Manage complete business analysis activities, which include requirements gathering, analysis, validation, and traceability across the entire consulting engagement cycle.
• Direct business analytics and planning activities to enhance forecasting, resource management, performance tracking, and decision-making.
• Analyze business processes and business models to find weaknesses, evaluate risks, and implement necessary changes based on business priorities.
• Run business workshops and collaborate with clients and various functional units to create business cases, functional specifications, and solutions.

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of experience in business analysis in the field of consulting, with proven proficiency in requirements management and client interactions.
• Proficiency in business analytics and planning, including interpreting and presenting the findings of data to the concerned stakeholders.
• Proven experience in business analysis artifacts like use cases, process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Sound problem-solving and critical thinking skills in analyzing the complex business problems and recommending feasible solutions.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral, with experience in conducting workshops and delivering analytical outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on coordinating consultancy activities in hybrid workplaces while ensuring effective communication and documentation.
• Experience in business case preparation, risk assessment, process improvement, and performance management for strategic decision-making.
• Experience in mentoring junior consultants and analysts through structured thinking and communication.
• Experience in working with documentation standards, traceability matrices, issue logs, and other structured consultancy governance approaches.
• Certification in CBAP, PMI-PBA, or any other equivalent business analysis certification.
