Job Description

Accenture is hiring a Custom Software Engineering Lead in Bengaluru to lead the technical direction and architecture of custom software solutions. The position focuses on blockchain technology, scalable system design, development standards, and software delivery. The role requires strong blockchain expertise, team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, security knowledge, and experience developing high-performance enterprise technology solutions. 

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Technical lead in charge of designing and implementing software solutions in enterprise-level projects.
  • Managing engineering teams along with delivering technical insights and making vital decisions regarding project development.
  • Development of standards that ensure quality, consistency, scalability, security, and performance of software solutions.
  • Coordinating with various teams to solve technical problems and develop workable solutions.
  • Training of team members for smooth integration of technologies in solutions.

Requirements

  • Show proficiency in blockchain technology and distributed ledger technologies for enterprise-level usage.
  • Have hands-on experience in designing and developing smart contracts and blockchain-based application architecture for businesses.
  • Have knowledge of cryptographic concepts, security, consensus algorithms, and decentralized application architecture.
  • Ability to design a high-performance blockchain system to meet the technology needs of enterprises.
  • Have knowledge about software development lifecycle methodologies and Agile approaches for blockchain-engineering projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 7.5 years’ worth of work experience in software engineering and blockchain technology.
  • Understanding of distributed ledger technology and smart contract programming.
  • Good understanding of cryptology and security practices within the context of blockchain.
  • Understanding of consensus algorithms and decentralized application architecture.
  • Able to design blockchain systems that are scalable and performant through agile methodology.
