Security Architect is a career opportunity presented by Accenture for security experts who wish to work towards designing and building secure cloud architectures based on business needs and performance criteria. Responsibilities include designing comprehensive cloud security architectures, documenting security controls, and assisting in the migration of security operations to the managed cloud environment. The required skills include experience with CrowdStrike CTEM and risk assessment and mitigation in security architecture. The job duties will also include collaboration with various stakeholders, analysis of emerging security technologies, and participation in the improvement of security operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design cloud security architectures based on organizational needs and business objectives.
  • Work in a cross-functional manner with other teams to ensure that security architecture supports business objectives.
  • Be aware of the latest developments in security technology and suggest enhancements for current security frameworks and security operations.
  • Capture information on security controls, architectural designs, and operational processes to help manage the cloud.
  • Help mentor junior members of the team and participate in knowledge sharing and training sessions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications with 15 years of full-time studies.
  • At least 3 years of experience in security architecture or similar roles in security.
  • Good knowledge of CrowdStrike CTEM and Continuous Threat Exposure Management.
  • Experienced in building cloud security frameworks and designing cloud security architectures.
  • Experience in analyzing security threats and developing mitigation approaches. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike CTEM and cloud security controls.
  • Deep knowledge on how to operate securely in a cloud environment and manage security.
  • Hands-on experience in migrating security operations to managed cloud services.
  • Able to assess new security technologies and make proper suggestions for security improvements.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring, and problem-solving capabilities.
