Job Description

Amazon requires a Senior Data Solutions Lead for its Data Collection Excellence team to develop customer success through machine learning solutions. The person in this position will provide consulting services for complex machine learning and Generative AI data collection initiatives while maintaining customer relationships and developing scalable data solutions. The candidate will play a critical role in turning research requirements into operational workflows which will help advance global operations and maintain data quality needed to boost AI model effectiveness.

Main Duties:

• Drive and document ML and Generative AI data solutions, converting complex research goals into structured data collection strategies.
• Manage global improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency and operational workflows.
• Coordinate across cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and stakeholder alignment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer scientists as a trusted advisor.
• Provide consultation on ML workflows to maximize customer value and solution effectiveness.
• Monitor and optimize data collection health metrics for improved outcomes.
• Support customer adoption through technical expertise and high-quality service delivery.

Essential Qualifications:

• Five years of experience handling ML data operations which includes my expertise in data annotation workflows and their basic principles. 
• Positions that include solutions architect and technical consultant and service delivery manager. 
• Possesses strong analytical abilities and effective communication skills and problem-solving abilities while maintaining focus on specific details. 
• Demonstrates ability to develop and implement data creation plans across multiple international settings. 
• Possesses the ability to convert difficult technical information into practical solutions for business challenges.

Preferred Skills:

• Master’s degree in computer science or data science or engineering or a related field. 
• Experience with project management or program management duties. 
• Demonstrate technical expertise through their skills in Python and JSON and command-line tool usage. 
• Experience in customer success or consulting or account management roles. 
• Assess data workflow scalability and provide strategic solutions for enhancement.
