Job Description

SAP is looking to employ a Sovereign Cloud Architect and Advisor who will create and oversee hybrid and multi-cloud systems. The position requires transforming client needs into Sovereign Cloud solutions while maintaining governance standards and compliance requirements and enabling seamless teamwork among different groups and individuals.

Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or IT

Main Duties

  • Sovereign Cloud services together with their technical specifications and their managed service delivery methods to both customers and stakeholders. 
  • Private cloud value propositions which they deliver to customers through AWS and Azure and GCP platforms. 
  • Customer workshops which develop cloud transformation roadmaps that show progress from present operations to future business goals.
  • Guide customers on Sovereign Cloud principles, operations, and compliance requirements.
  • Plan migration strategies with partners, system integrators, and SAP teams.
  • Advise on business continuity, security, compliance, and non-functional requirements.
  • Lead technical discussions with customers and coordinate with internal teams.
  • Support pre-sales activities and act as a trusted advisor during deal cycles.
  • Ensure smooth transition to delivery teams for deployment and provisioning.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ten years of experience working with customers and providing SAP consulting services.
  • Eight years of experience working in enterprise architecture and solution design and SAP implementation projects.
  • Extensive knowledge about SAP products and their solutions for different industries.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms and virtualization technologies and computing resources and data storage systems and network systems.
  • Knowledge about hyperscale cloud service providers such as AWS and Azure and GCP and SCI.
  • Knowledge of SAP HANA and S/4 HANA and NetWeaver and OS/DB migration.
  • Demonstrates strong abilities in both communication and presentation skills while managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Capacity to work by themselves when facing work tasks that must be finished within short time periods.

Preferred Skills:

  • Possess AWS and Azure and GCP and TOGAF certifications for this position. 
  • Demonstrate SAP BTP and integration technologies for this position. 
  • Knowledge about cybersecurity and FIPS regulations and data privacy laws. 
  • Experience with SAP-certified hardware vendors for this position. 
  • The candidate must show skills in IT service management and service delivery and SAP system operations for this position. 
  • Experience working with regulated industries or public sector clients for this position. 
  • Experience in pre-sales work and consulting work within cloud computing environments.
